We celebrated an early Thanksgiving with my great-grandparents on Saturday, since they won’t be able to come this Thursday. Having so many people at our house was fun, but I soon got worn out!
Mom put the holiday bandana on me, since we would be taking a Christmas card picture later with the whole family. (Great Grandpa took the picture.)
If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, you know how cute my cousin is. Well, she loves me just as much as I love her! All I have to do is shake my head, and she will laugh! Here are some pics of her coming after me. I wanted to give her kisses on her face, but her mom and dad kept me back each time.
I found my bed again, when she got a little too touchy with me.
But my cousin followed me!
It turns out, all she wanted was the bell on my bandana!

Oh how sweet!
Laney you are so good with your cousin. I hope you were able to sneak in a quick lick for her.
Have a great day!
Kisses

The way you act with the baby shows how sweet and gentle you are. You remind me so much of our shar pei. We call him gentle bentle as a pet name. Maybe you should get a big dog as a little brother or sister to protect you. Our shar pei's golden sister protects him from mean dogs.
Aww, that's too cute! Sure she would have snuggled up with you for a nap if the big humans had let her!
Slobbers xx
So cute Laney! What a cute cousin! I would have covered that baby in kisses!

Hey, Lanie -
You really are a good girl to be so sweet to your niece, but you might want to suggest to your mom that she starts teaching your niece that you need your alone time every now and then. It destresses things for everyone. I told my nieces (when they wanted to over love my German Shepherd when they were little) that whenever the dog went to a certain place, they were to leave her alone. It'll give you a place to go where you know you can rest and it helps teach the little ones respect for privacy and space.

CJ - Yes, when she's old enough, mom will definitely let her know where my "quiet places" are.
Mino - Sure! Here's a link to a larger version that can be scaled down: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3164/3056355514_163b8ed4c2_o.jpg

I haven't been around many of the little people pups myself, but I hear they usually have food on their faces. I'm definitely planning on checking that out when I get a chance. You have a very handsome family.
Cute...I bet she wanted you too and not just the bell! ;) Must be fun to have a little cousin!
