Don't Ask

I can be a little silly. I like to make Mom laugh!
Who says I need to sleep ON my bed?

Actually, I wasn’t sleeping under there. I was playing with a ball, and scooted it under there. Then it just seemed comfy.

I tend to stop whatever I’m doing when Mom takes out the camera though.

And for your amusement, here’s a video where Mom is trying to figure out what I’m doing:

Bed, Bath, and Beyond

Mom wanted to get some pictures of me laying on my new bed that Grandma bought for me for Christmas. Grandma didn’t think I liked it, since she never saw me use it. But look how soft it is! Of course I love it! Plus, I like to scrunch it up and try to hide my biscuits and pig ears in it.

And, of course, since it’s so close to my toys, all I have to do is reach over and pull a toy onto my bed to chew on.

I also had to have a bath last Saturday, which I’m never happy about. But Mom said I did a lot better this time... I stopped shivering! Yes, I’m gaining confidence that nothing bad will happen to me in there. But I still don’t like being wet, as you can tell. (My tail is down.)

Bath Time

Last night, I was playing around in my crate. I like to pull things out, move my bed around in there, and bury treats. Mom was in bed, when all of the sudden she heard me yelp in pain. She jumped out of bed and ran to the living room, where I came trotting over to her, wagging my tail. She checked me over, but didn’t see any owies. She figures I must have stepped on the ledge of the crate wrong and scared myself.

So, this morning, when it was time for me to go to my crate, (Which I usually do, without Mom even asking.) I hid under the table with my tail between my legs. I was still a little scared to get hurt in there again. But Mom put some treats in there and coaxed me out; and I decided to be brave and went back in my crate all on my own. Mom said she was proud of me.

But, hey, all I do in there during the day is sleep. So it’s kind of hard to get hurt doing that!

... Have I mentioned that I'm accident prone?
