Christmas Presents

What did you all get for Christmas?! My favorite gift was this new, cozy bed that fits me perfectly! As soon as Mom unwrapped it for me and put it in the floor, I was curled up like this. I also scored some yummy treats, and a few fun squeaky toys!

On Christmas Day, we went over to my cousin's house. I like to chase their cats. Especially, their new kitten, Snoopy. He actually tries to get me to chase him, probably because his brother won't play with him. Here, Snoopy is waiting on me to get up from my nap. He stared at me all through the family dinner. But I pretty much ignore him till he runs.

Since yogurt is good for my tummy, Mom let me lick the remains of her yogurt. It was so good! Usually, I don't like blueberries, but in yogurt it's great! My only complain was that I couldn't quite reach the stuff at the bottom. Sometimes it's not so great to have a "meat mouth" instead of a pointy face. Mom said I could have tried to put my nose in there to reach the rest... but that would mean getting messy. No thanks.

How Fast Can You Squeak?

First Snow

Oh no. Last weekend it was warm and sunny. This week? First snow.

Can you tell I'm not happy about this?

Mom took me to the dog park, to run around since it has been raining for several days. As you can see, Reddy the pit bull was having fun running. I was in slow motion.



Okay, Mom. I'm done. This is me hiding behind the tree from the blowing snow and wind (like mom was).

But mom came prepared and brought my sweater.

Carly was playful too... trying to get me to play as well.

But nope. Take me home, Mom.

I need the electric fireplace, blowing directly on me.

Meat and cheese are my favorite things... Wonder if I'll get a bite, if I sit here and stare long enough?

Kong Cozie Review

I received another toy from Kong to review! My mom gets tons of books to review everyday, so it's only fair that I get a free toy every once in a while.

This new Kong Cozie is a super tough, stuffed animal - in my case a blue dog that my family says looks like Blue from Blues Clues. He has a squeaky in his bum area that took me just a minute to find.

I don't know if other Shar Pei's do this, but I like to pretend I'm not interested in a toy after just a minute of play. But it's all an act. I like to wait for the other person (or dog) to lose interest so I can pounce on it again.





This toy is really soft and durable, with a heavy duty squeaker. Perfect for a finicky pup like me!
