Birthday Recap!
Well, I had a pawesome Adoption/Birth Day! Though the day didn’t start out so great, when some strange men came into the house. I wanted to let them know I wasn’t happy about their intrusion, even tho mom let them in to clean something or other. I didn’t like their smell. So I was sequestered outside till I stopped barking at them.
How was Mom able to not give into this face?! I mean, this is my sad/pathetic face!
Anyway, they finally left and I was able to come back inside.
THEN, we went to McDonalds and I got my own CHEESEBURGER! This is a very special occasion indeed! I inhaled mine in about 3 seconds flat, bun and all.
And for dinner, mom got me this yummy parmesan pizza from a local dog bakery!
Whoohoo, I also got treats galore from the ladies at the dog bakeries. They, of course, went nuts over me and made sure I didn’t go away hungry!
Mom also brought home this PupCake for me.
Sniff, sniff
Meh, I’ll save it for later.
Mom noticed I wasn’t interested in the pupcake, so she made these yummy peanut butter cookies for me and all of my dog park friends! Now these, I wolfed down!
Such a great day, full of food, Mom’s company, and the dog park! What more could a SuperPup ask for?
When does my Adoption/Birth Day come around again?

My Birthday/Adoption Day!
Today, we celebrate my Adoption Day (and Birthday since we're not sure exactly when it is)! Two years ago today Mom found me at the local Humane Society and couldn't resist my wrinkly face! It was love at first sight for both of us. We're definitely soul mates. And I'm a grown-up 4-year-old now (we think)! That means, I don't play with other dogs as much anymore. But nothing can stop the nose!
Mom says she's going to take me on a fun walk (as long as it's not pouring raining again). And she's going to take me to my favorite place: the 3 Dog Bakery for some yummy treats! I wonder if I'll get a cheeseburger or hot dog too? Hint, hint, Mom.

Mutt Strut 2010!
Well, last year was unbearably hot and humid... And this year it was cool and raining! Hopefully, next year that means it'll be a happy medium. Mutt Strut is a popular fundraiser for the Indianapolis Humane Society, which is near and dear to my heart since I was adopted from a humane society too.
Mom loves to see all the different types of dogs at these events.
No Shar Peis, but then again... IT WAS RAINING! And most of us don't like to be wet. Hint, hint, Mom.
Well, only a couple of my bark park pals couldn't come. So we had a pretty good turn out for it being so yucky rainy!
Here's me and Buddy the Basset!
And here's our group of bark park pals before our walk.
Yes, we had a lot of fun despite the wetness!
Here's a short video of us on the Speedway:
We scored a lot of free treats and food, but nothing was worth this:
I was cold and shivering, but thankfully Mom had a spare sweatshirt in the car.
Can we go home now, Mom?

It's Coming!
That's right! Mutt Strut is this Sunday, raising money for the Indianapolis Humane Society, and getting to walk around the Indy Speedway, seeing all kinds of pups along the way. Mom made these tshirts for Mom and Sandy & Gizmo's moms and dads to wear, since I didn't win the Poster Pooch Contest this year. Pretty funny, eh?
Anyway, since Mutt Strut is on Sunday, that means my Adoption/Birthday is Monday! I'll be 4 years old (or there abouts). I wonder what Mom is going to get me???

More Hiking Adventures... and a Badge!
Mom took this week off to spend with me and go on hiking adventures! We have gone to the state park a couple times already.
We're both definitely out of shape, after the long winter. So the 3 mile trail is tiring for both of us. I just show it more!
Then shortly, I'm back to being regal.
And yesterday, we were honored from Dogster, our favorite doggy site!
