Way To Go, Mom

That was sarcasm.
And she's not cutting my nails for a while.
I'm tough, but my Mom isn't. The sight of blood made her sick to her stomach, on top of feeling bad. Of course, I probably shouldn't have jerked my paw, just as she was cutting...

Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry that you've been injured. I'm sure your Mom feels terrible about it, but before she gets over it don't forget to hold your paw up and look pathetic now and then. Not enough to send you to the vet. Just enough for that extra attention.

OUCH! Tell your momma to get some Quick Stop for the next time she does your toes or if she can't find that to buy, believe it or not, sugar will help stop the bleeding, too!

Oh-oh!
Looks like a crime scene!
Sure your mom did not mean it!
Take care

Oh damn you poor thing, I hate seeing that. Just for the record, most of us hate nail trimming!

Owwieee... that hurts... mom didn't mean it I'm sure. It happened to me once too. The trail of blood drops was definitely a sight.

Oh ick! I let the vet do my nails because the same thing would happen here if my clumsy momma tried to do it.

OUCH! Our mom has done that to us too, Laney, and she feels just HORRIBLE! I guess that's why we give her a hard time now when the nail clippers appear!

Love ya lots,

Oh poor you! And your poor Mama - she didn't mean to hurt you. My Mama used to think she was a master Spaniel clipper til she practically sliced her Muffin's ear off and had to rush her to the vet. NO WAY would I ever let her near my nails. Some things are better left to the experts, I think.

I'm so sorry your mommy did that to you! I've done that to my sweet Milly before, and the blood alone is enough to scare someone from clipping nails again! It's amazing how much blood there is from nipping the quick! I'm about to order a Dremel and will switch to nail grinding instead of trimming to help prevent this. Even if you do hit the quick with the Dremel there is much less blood.

Oh Laney...hope your toe is better. My Mom doesn't really cut my nails as she's afraid of that happening and she would feel bad too. You seem to be handling it all quite well though!

Nala
