I Like Long Walks By the ... Pond

(PixUp)

It was 40 degrees yesterday, when Mom got home. So, she took me on a nice, long walk down to the pond. Though, to tell you the truth, I did more sniffing than walking.

Mom doesn’t really like walking around the pond because of the piles of poo everywhere that other dog owners don’t pick up. Even though there’s a stand with free bags and a trash can RIGHT THERE! But she knows I love walking through the grass and getting close to the water, so she still takes me down there. Plus, it’s easy to throw away my daily delivery while we’re there, so Mom doesn’t have to carry it around.

Hi, Laney!
You had a nice sniffing-walkie!
I don't poo outside my house but my mom always has a poo bag with her in case one day I do it.
Kisses and hugs

Aww, you look even prettier in the sunlight....but where's your glamorous coat? Looks icy there, a bit like our river walk the other day!
Stupid people not picking up the poop when there's a bin right there!

A walk by the pond sounds nice except for the poo....YUCK! Why don't people pick that stuff up...do they not know it's their job!? SHEESH! I am not a fan of very poopy places....went to a dog park once that was covered and smelled disgusting. From the time I got there I was acting very strange and I wouldn't go on the grass because that was where the stink was coming from. Then, you'll never believe what happened. This little snow white Yorkie started following me around...normally I am friendly with everyone but I was running away from this little guy who was crazily trying to jump up and sniff my behind. Mom thought I was being strange but she soon realized why...the snowy colored Yorkie turned around and his whole side was no longer snowy white but rather a very muddy brown. Can you guess what he had been doing? He smelled awful and so when Mom realized I was panicked because of the stinky dog we soon left the park. :) Anyway, have a furtastic weekend!

Kisses,
Nala

We love nice long walks with lots of things to sniff too!
Our mum gets annoyed at humans who dont pick up after their dogs too.
This is why some people dont like us dogs and it is not our fault. We just need more responsible owners!
Have a good weekend

Hi Lois,
That does look like a fun place to walk. I bet there is a lot of pee-mail there to catch up on.

You look very pretty in your pictures!

We call them landmines...it looks like the snow is mostly gone. Very pretty views of the lake. I hope you get a chance to go again soon.

Hi Laney
That looks like a nice place for a walk. I see that you don't have very much snow. I wish I could see the grass.
