On Sunday, Mom took me to a local State Park. Ft. Ben has several trails, and the one we went on was really nice, paved with several park benches to sit and rest along the way.
It was very pretty, though my nose was to the ground 90% of the time.
It was a cool day, perfect for hiking. But the walk was over 2 ½ miles, so Mom stopped several times to try to get me to drink some water. But I wasn’t interested. I just wanted to keep going!
There were lots of other dogs that were walking along the trail too. But I wasn’t allowed to play with them.
Finally, we got back to the car, where I collapsed. And I still wouldn’t drink anything. Wonder why Mom calls me stubborn? Ft. Ben was so much fun! Mom says we get to go back next Sunday with some other people, if the weather is nice! I’m crossing my paws!

ReplyDeleteThat looked like so much fun. Man I can't believe you aren't allowed to play with the dogs you meet. I can never figure out why I'm not allowed to play with every person, and every dog I meet on walks. I know that everyone loves me... so whats the problem?
